Frequently Asked Questions

Does PixelForge support all Excel file formats?
PixelForge supports .xlsx, .xls, .xlsm, and .xlsb files. These cover the vast majority of Excel workbooks created by Microsoft Excel 97 and later versions. .csv files are not processed here — to convert a CSV, open it in Excel, save it as .xlsx, then convert.
Will all sheets in my workbook be converted?
Yes. All sheets in the workbook are parsed and rendered in sequence. Each sheet will appear as a separate section in the PDF, allowing the entire workbook to be captured in one document.
Why do wide spreadsheets get cut off in the PDF?
Very wide spreadsheets with many columns may extend beyond standard PDF page width. PixelForge uses landscape orientation to maximise horizontal space, but extremely wide sheets may still wrap. For best results, reduce column widths or select a smaller paper size in your browser's print settings before saving the PDF.
Will charts and graphs from my Excel file appear in the PDF?
Currently, PixelForge converts the tabular data (cells and text values) from your Excel file. Charts and embedded graphs are not guaranteed to render, as they are stored as separate objects in the Excel file format. For exact chart rendering, Excel's own "Save as PDF" or "Print to PDF" option will give the most accurate result.
